On 20 November 2015, our partner Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering (MHIEC) signed the contract to supply 2 waste combustion systems for the refuse incineration power plant in Bengbu city.
The city of Bengbu, home to 3 million people, is located in Anhui province in eastern China.
The two combustion lines will be equipped with MARTIN reverse-acting grates, each with a throughput of 605 Mg/day. Moreover, the plant will be fitted with a 25 MW power generator.
Start-up of the plant is planned for the year 2017.
