On 25 March 2021, MARTIN, its long-standing partner CNIM, the French state and the creditors and credit insurers of the CNIM Group signed a memorandum of understanding on the restructuring of CNIM Group's current liabilities.
The closing is expected to take place by the end of the first half of 2021 and aims at reconstituting CNIM Group's financial stability. An essential part of the agreement provides that in the future MARTIN will hold 49 % of the share capital of CNIM subsidiary LAB SA.
This further strengthens the 60 years of cooperation between CNIM and MARTIN and through the affiliation of two of the world's leading technology developers in the waste-to-energy segment establishes substantial opportunities for cooperation. Both parties therefore position themselves ideally for developing today solutions for the challenges of tomorrow.
