Strategic milestone in Asia: MARTIN GmbH fully acquires Indian subsidiary, renaming it MARTIN Technologies Private Limited (MTPL)

MARTIN GmbH buys all shares held by its partner company Papers in the Indian joint venture (CNIM MARTIN Pvt. Ltd.) to reinforce its presence in a high-growth market with more than two billion people.


Munich / Chennai – MARTIN has successfully completed full acquisition of its Indian subsidiary: following the signing of the purchase agreements and the finalisation of the takeover, the former joint venture CNIM Martin Private Limited (CMPL) has officially been operating under the new name MARTIN Technologies Private Limited (MTPL) since 14 August 2026.

Founded in 2017 and based in Chennai, MTPL currently employs approximately 45 staff. As a specialist for waste-to-energy and environmental technologies, the team headed by managing director Denis Bauer has established a firm foothold in the Indian and Southeast Asian markets. Having won four major projects, the company is serving as a central technology hub for the region.
