On 26 April 2016, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering (MHIEC) signed a contract to supply, amongst other things, the combustion part for the 6th WTE plant in Singapore. The contract took effect with the approval of capital funding on 16 May 2016.
The plant will consist of four lines, each with a daily throughput of 900 t and a thermal capacity of 120 MW. The four combustion lines will be equipped with MARTIN reverse-acting grates, each of which is 13.55 m wide.
Start-up is planned for the year 2019.
