On 20 September 2013, our partner company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering (MHIEC) signed a contract to build the New Nagasaki West waste-to-energy plant and subsequently to operate the plant for 15 years.
The plant is to be erected in Kaminoshima-machi, a district of Nagasaki, which is located in the prefecture of the same name.
Both combustion lines will be equipped with MARTIN reverse-acting grates, each with a throughput of 120 Mg / day.
Start-up of the plant is planned for October 2016.
