First MARTIN reverse-acting grate Vario in Great Britain

23.04.2012, Cardiff, Great Britain

Acting as general contractor for the British waste management company VIRIDOR, our French partner company CNIM will build two waste-to-energy lines for electricity and heat generation at the Trident Park location in Cardiff, Wales.

MARTIN will supply two reverse-acting grates Vario, each with a throughput of 26.5 t/h and a gross heat release of 64 MW. The MARTIN Infrared Combustion Control (MICC) system will be used for combustion control.

The plant is to start operating in 2014.
