On 27 October 2006, MARTIN was awarded the contract to supply the combustion system as a part of the expansion of the Padua residual waste treatment plant (a third unit is being added).

The new unit is equipped with a 2-run, water-cooled horizontal grate and is to thermally treat max. 375 tonnes of residual waste with up to 10 tonnes of hospital waste a day as of the summer of 2008.

TERMOKIMIK S.p.A., Milan is the general contractor for this plant and is responsible for delivery of the other plant components as well as turnkey handover of the plant to the end customer and operator, ACEGAS-APS S.p.A.
