| Commencement of plant construction |

| Following approval by the Thüringer Landesverwaltungsamt Weimar on 31 March 2005 and the resolution by the "Zweckverband für Abfallwirtschaft Südwestthüringen" (joint waste management association of south west Thuringia) dated 29 April 2005, commencement of construction of the Südwestthüringen thermal waste incineration plant was released on 2 May 2005. The plant has a combustion capacity of 160,000 tonnes of residual waste per year and is scheduled to go into operation in 2007.
