In mid-November 2011, the waste management company SITA awarded our French partner company CNIM the contract to build a waste-to-energy (WTE) plant in Great Blakenham, Suffolk (UK).
MARTIN will supply two reverse-acting grates, each with a gross heat release of approx. 43 MW and a throughput of 417 t/h. The MARTIN Infrared Combustion Control (MICC) system will be used for combustion control.
The WTE plant is to start operating in 2014.
