On 23 June 2015, our partner company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering (MHIEC) signed a contract with Kouza Clean Association to build the Kouza WTE plant, and to subsequently operate it for 20 years.
The plant will be erected west of Yokohama in the city of Ebina, located in Kanagawa prefecture.
The two combustion lines will be equipped with MARTIN reverse-acting grates, each with a throughput of 122.5 Mg/day, to replace two outdated combustion lines (150 Mg/day and 200 Mg/day). The plant will be fitted with a 4.87 MW power generator.
Start-up of the plant is planned for April 2019.
