Order for delivery of a grate system

24/02/2011

On 24/11/2010, our French partner company CNIM was awarded the contract to build a waste-to-energy plant in Maardu / Estonia by the state utility company Eesti Energia.

The plant will be built on the site of the Iru coal-fired combined heat and power station located north-east of Tallinn. The energy recovered will be used to generate electricity and provide heat for district heating purposes.

MARTIN will deliver a reverse-acting grate with a throughput of 660 Mg/day and a thermal capacity of 80.21 MW. The MARTIN Infrared Combustion Control (MICC) system will be used for combustion control.

The plant is to be completed by 2012 and is to start up at the beginning of 2013.
